Can someone help me on this discussion question? Any help is appreciate thanks!

How does Howard Roark exemplify the fact that reason must be used to solve man's problems rather than replying on others' judgments or one's emotions? Why is the dynamiting of Cortlandt not an example of irrationality?

  1. Roark exemplifies the fact that people need to make their own decisions when he tells Peter to make up his own mind on whether to apprentice for Wynand or go to Paris to study art.

Bombing Cortlandt was justified in Roark's view because Peter had promised him that the designs Roark drew would not be changed.
