Help on a CRAZY dream?

I would like to know what you think this dream could mean with symbols etc.

It started with me hiding in an attic of soft toys of a church/cult, and the priest (he is a lecturer at my university) was trying to give us all poisoned drinks. he was saying we will feel better once we have passed on.

A friend and me escaped and while we were running down the street we released all the shops had been abandoned. Then we saw two 'high' scary looking men heading our way, maybe related to the cult? he started to kill the girl I was with. But I could not get in shops for help as there was no one in them, or they were locked.

I tried to get into a nurses office for help.

don't think much about this dream just read your bible if you have any. Just pray for guidance.

The dream suggest you are attracted to the security of someone who claims to know the truth.  One part of you feels it would be nice to just put your faith in a Father type figure; however, you know that this will not work for you.  It is likely there is some authority figure in your life that you feel is attempting to control  you.

You have made the decision to be very careful but you are afraid this person might gain control over you.  You have a friend who has likely fell for line and is under his control.

At this point  you do not feel there is anyone who can help you so you must make your own choices and take action based on them.

here's my go at it, hope this helps:

you are hiding from either the teachings of god or whatever the man lectures you in because you know it is a lie. the way your life goes depends on whether or not you abstain from listening, from going with it.

i can't seem to see how the other story line is related to it, but my thoughts are:

your friend and you are the only ones who understand that it's not true, or really understand the truth maybe? the whole word has been destroyed, abandoned, whatever, because of the lies. the men were members of the cult maybe who were sent out to get you, and i'm guessing that means you two will be tested and they'll try to switch you over to the other belief. the girl will not make it, she will succumb. it's up to you whether you will do the same.

i guess it really means your faith will be tested in days ahead and you've got to stand by what you know is right. good luck with that.
