I'm starting school tomorrow so I need as many answers possible! My schedule is really confusing. There is five columns from left to right it goes Term, Day, Course, Teacher Name, and Room. Under the Term column it has YR (for year), S1 (for semester one), and S2 (for semester two). But, the next column, Day, has A-, -B, and AB. I don't know what the heck A-, -B, and AB means!!! That's what the major confusion is about! Thank you so much for your help!

  1. some schools run on an "AB" day schedule

If Monday is "Day A", then Tuesday is "Day B", and then it alternates

So you will have Day A and Day B courses every other day

AB courses will be taken everyday

  2. this means that you have some courses which you take every other day.

For example, if you have art on day A, then you would go to aart class every other day. so your schedule for art might look like this

    Monday

    Wednesday

    Friday

then next week it would be like

    tuesday

    thursday

got it? and vice versa with b days. your main courses such as english science math or second language you will take everyday.

  3. Well in my school one day is an "A" day and the next is a "B" day. So it might be the same in your school.

    For example:

On B-days i have spanish class

On A-days i have art class.

Mondays a B day so i have spanish class and Tuesdays a A-day so i have art class. And so on repeting the pattern.

Maybe AB means A day and B day...

So If thats true lets say Wednsdays a "AB" day so i would have Art and Spanish.

This is just me guess but im sure if you want you can call the school and ask. Im sure they will be more then welcome to answer your questions you have. Or  you can call a friend or someone that had been in the school before.

I hope i helped :] Hope you have a good "First day" at school !
