Help on a girl's name?

Question

I'm writing a story and I'm not sure what name is better. Her parents names are Madison and Ian.

The two names I'm between are

Paige Lauren

and

Sophie

For Sophie, I have no idea for a middle name, so I'd appreciate any input. Thanks! :) Btw, her last name will be Storey.

I prefer Paige, only because I don't care for Sophie (or Sophia) - however Sophia Paige sounds pretty.

Paige Storey ... interesting.  Not something I'd choose, but if it works for you, go for it.

Paige Storey to me seems more made up - Paige/book/Story, you get it.

Sophie Storey is a mouthful, but if you are going to use her middle name a lot, that wouldn't be too bad.  Sophie and Storey are both S's and both two syllables, so I would steer clear from any of that.

Please don't pick any names that are trendy or popular right now. It really depends on what year the person was born. Like if you have a person born in the 1600's you wouldn't have them named Nevaeh Starr; or if you have a person born in 2008, and it's doubtful that their name will be something like Prudence Gertrude! Same goes for the parents (and every other person in the story). The parents' personality effects the naming process at least somewhat.

Like, say that the parents are very strict Christians (this is just an example, so no offense if you're not a Christian. Honestly, I'm starting to not believe anymore.... I've already decided which religion I'm best suited for.) and the parents gave their daughter the name Mary Eden or if it was a boy, Moses Joseph (or whatever).

Or maybe the parents are movie stars, if the parents are like Gweneth Paltrow (the woman who named her baby Apple) they probably would name the girl something like Garden Flower or if it was a boy maybe something like Sandstorm Beau. Or if the parents are just plain stupid, maybe something like Tula Does The Hula From Hawaii....

  Now I'm not saying that you're not listening to this rule or anything like that, it's something I tell everyone who says they need names for characters, so please don't think I'm picking on you to be mean... I mean, for all I know you probably already did this! Sorry if you already did then and ignore my lecture. :)

I have no idea how old Paige Lauren or Sophie are, so I'm just going to use the age 14 (1994) years for an example.

Sophie: # 415  (Sophia is # 185, in case you wanted to know.)

If Paige and Sophie are 14 (take or give about 5 years) then I'd say you're doing great!

So I think you should go for a middle name (for Sophie) from about 200 to 600. It's just a suggestion, though! I'll list some.
