    B.  In some way the Gods have been insulted or offended:

    1.  Psyche must do tasks for her MIL in order to see Cupid again

    2. Narcissus was vain and despised the love of Echo and others.  The Gods punished him by having him fall in love with his own reflection.

    3.  Orpheus disdained the God of Music, Apollo and lost his life
