Help on bikes?

looking for my first bike having trouble deciding on a 2 stroke or 4 stroke looking to do some trail riding i like the yamaha yz 125 and the honda cr125 could someone help me decide

The only place a 2 stroke is better is in competition.  They deliver more power for their weight.  The downside is the stinken noise and smoke.  They have to be reved up to get their power. They ruin an outdoor experience.  Get a 4 stroke if you want to enjoy a trail experience.

Trail riding isn't for most 2 strokes....I would suggest an enduro bike...like maybe a kdx, or a ktm...They are really nice, and easy on sand, and good for trails.

if its your first bike and you want to do trail riding... 4 stroke. honda makes a better bike than yamaha. depends are your size either look into a crf250 or a crf150. both are fast as h**l and manuver incredible.

if you are trail riding go for a four stroke, you do not tell your size, or if you have ever rode before. so before you go out and dump money in to it ride a couple of bikes you may think you can handle. then make your decision. so you know your pipes are what make your bike louder and smoking well must be too much oil in the gas. i have a 2 stroke the right pipe and good oil mix. but  get what you want and can control . enjoy what ever you buy.
