Help on drama class!?

Question

I'm taking drama for the first time, and I want to know what you do in class and stuff. Also, do you have to act (like actually being in the play)? I do want to improve my acting skills, but for now I want to learn about what you do backstage and be one of the backstage people (also, I want to paint props and stuff ^_^). Thank you!!!

depends mostly on your school

in class you learn monologues i am sure you'll love it.

the plays are auditioned you don't have to be in it if you don't want to

you may play like improvisation games too in class it all depends on the teacher you might learn about like stage positions lighting props and other stuff like that

It depends on the class. There are acting classes, directing classes and tech classes. OF course it depends on the school, but there are usually several opportunities for you to work on productions either on stage or back stage.
