Help on first tattoo!?

im getting a tattoo but i wasnt sure on what i wanted. than i found these gorgeous black & white shade angel wings i wanted on my should blades! would this be a cute idea? nothing to big.. just small ones

if you're gonna get something that's going to be on your body as long as you live....do some thing that you like, that has meaning to you, not just wat you think everyone else will like. you don't want to look back on this experience and regret that you got angel wings, if you want angel wings get them for you , not because your friends say this ones cute but the the one you really want they don't really like.

if that's what you want honey then you go for it. tattoos are about expression for the individual, i know mine are. that would look really lovely but make sure you have them properly designed and id try to make them a little different as i have seen a few similar to what you have describeded. hope thats helpful.

Sounds a good idea, and shoulder blades are a good place for a first tattoo. Pain there is genrally minimal for most people and its an easy place to hide them for say a job interview or something. Go for it!

Just my opinion, but you should definitely have had a clear idea of what you wanted before you even thought about getting a tattoo. I'm not going to go into the whole "you're stuck with it for life thing" because I don't see that as being the main problem. The fact that you didn't know what you wanted before you decided you wanted a tattoo is more worrying.

On the design you've chosen, a lot of people do have wings on their back - if you're insistent on getting wings, why not adapt the design to something more original so that you know it's going to be an original tattoo.
