i have this reoccurring dream where i start to wake up and my sight fades out of a blackout, when i wake up, i am standing up and i am at the end of my hallway. then i get hit by this numbing silence and everything starts to shake very vigorously as if i am beaing thrown 20 feet up and down verry quickly, i can still see the hallway but my head hurts horribly and my body feels numb. i have this urge to get to the end of the hallway but i cant keep my footing on the floor but i am still standing, soon after the rumbling starts it is accompanied by a horrible low pitched rumble that makes me feel as if i am being squeezed. then

everything stops and goes back to normal. i get frantic and try to get to the end of the hallway but i feel paralyzed, after trying extremely hard i manage to put one foot just a little bit froward but a soon as i do this the numbing silence comes back and it starts to shake again, only this time it is more of a vibration that is very strong and makes everything blurry. i feel like crawling into a ball but i cant. the vibration is soon followed by a piercing high pitch scream. i am badly confused. eventually this stops and i go back to frantically trying to walk

the low rumble and everything from before begin again and then trying to take a small step forward followed by the high pitched scream and the mind rattling vibrations

all of this happens again and again until finally it stops, then i run as fast as i can.

right before the end of the hallway tho there is a high pitched scream and everything explods.

i wake up and the dream is over

what does this dream mean?

it usually reoccurs between long periods of time and is the most frightening thing i have ever felt.

  1. It seems like you may have a sleeping disorder or sleep paralysis.  I provided a link for you.

  2. Well, When you have this dream did you eat right before you went to sleep?? When you eat and fall asleep right after you can have really creepy dreams. It could also be that something is really bothering you and scaring you and you are not dealing with it. Hopefully some of this makes sense.

  6. I know that you're expecting a complex answer to a bizarre and frightening dream, but basically the whole thing is just a gigantic alarm clock.  The numbing silence is a sign that this isn't going to hurt...what's coming.  That fact that this is a spiritual alarm clock is especially represented by you being slammed up and down about 20 feet over and over again, just like the little hammer between the two bells of an alarm clock.

Your spirit is trying to make you aware that it's real.  You might be spiritual, or you might not be.  But it is possible to be spiritual, and not actually be aware of your own spirit.  I've been through that experience, and it's quite surprising.  This is a message from your spirit.  It's time to wake up!

What are you waking up to?  You are waking up to what you really are as a spirit.  The reason it's so damned frightening to you is that what you are as a spirit is similar to, but not quite the same as what you are as a human now.  You'll still look human, but it'll be a more glorified form, more aesthetically pleasing and comfortable to exist in.  It's scary because it's coming like a "thief in the night", scaring you into wakefulness.
