Help on how to speak with an Irish Accent?

I'm from Scotland and I want to learn to speak with an Irish accent. Help please?

  1. there are absolutely loads of different irish accents. It differs tremendously from one end of the country to another.

    what one would you like to speak with?

    when you choose your favourite go on youtube, it is great for hearing the accents.


  2. By spending time in the country and around Irish people you will eventually learn some of the accent......

  3. If you try to put on an accent, you'll look like a fool. You may be able to make yourself sound Irish in Scotland, but in Ireland you'll sound like a Scot taking the p**s.

    Please don't do it.

    Anyway, some places in the North sound Scottish to me anyway.

  8. For the love of god please dont do the stereotypical  "ì cant do an irish accent and all people in ireland speak with a northern irish" accent, you are more likley to be wrong with that accent.
