  1. Do more everyday things with your right hand to gain muscle memory. You also should do this drill.Dribble with your weak hand every day for 20-25 minutes. It really works.I am almost a both handed person with that drill.

  2. how can i help? im not ure coach? so my advice - go get a coach.

  3. I'm also a lefty but I learned there is one thing you can incorporate into your training to help your strength  in every part of your game.

It is single dumbell excersizes. I was tought long ago by my trainer at my gym that a strange thing happens when you train regular and do left side then right side excersizes. your smaller muscles on the weaker side begin to come in balance with the other and your a more balanced athlete. Example: my biceps were once 14 right 15.25 left. They are now balanced at 19 each.

Also learn what core excersizes are. If your core is in shape the rest of the body follows. One good core excersize is abb crunches. Do core work regularly.

Next always add to the end of each day of practice with drills for the weak side. anything you feel you will be doing in the game. Start off with soft close standing lay ups then back one step and do a few from there, then one dribble to a lay up and so forth.

practice. work on fall-aways right and fall aways left. and any shots you take..Do it first with the weak side.

Also..best advise..stop the person who will be your coach.  Shake his hand and get his advise let him know your serious about being the best you can be.

  4. The best thing to do for the "weak" side hand is to do something called "alternate lay-up". Basically all it consists of is taking turns with each hand doing lay-ups and as you do them, try to mimic your right hand with what your left hand does. as soon as you get used to what your right hand does, you can start trying regular driving lay-ups to get your right side used to doing a lay-up which in return gets your brain to understand what you're doing right and doing wrong so you can adjust to the problem and make it an advantage rather than a weakness. But don't expect this to happen overnight or within days. It takes training and lots of hard work. Unless you are trying to be ambidextrous, meaning trying to literally be able to shoot with both hands, I doubt that you will have any trouble doing lay-up with your weaker side the more you PRACTICE. But as far as being ambidextrous, it's a far fetched skill and very hard to obtain, especially if you've gone this long without being able to do so. But you can always try.
