Help on my iPod nano?

my ipod has frozen up and will not turn off or do anything i have tried pluggin it into tha computer but nothing is working. do things like this somtimes happen or is it stuffed??? any ways to fix it plzz tell me if u know.

  1. That happened to me too and I freaked! I thought it was broken because  I had dropped it on  the ground right before it happened. I looked at "trouble shooting" on the apple website and found that if you held the center button and the menu button at the same time without touching any other part of the scroll wheel, it will "de-freeze" it. (make sure it's not on hold)


  2. this has happend to me before, my ipod 4gb 2nd gen froze, i just waited for the battery to run out,(which will take around 5 hours) and then plug it into the comp and it will work perfectly

    i think it is a problem all ipopds have unfortuantly.

    press the middle button as if you are going to turn it off and at the same time press the button below it.

    this is how you reset it.


  5. Ah this always happens to me. If you hold in the menu button and the middle button at the same time for about 10 seconds it should turn itself off and display the apple symbol. Then if you wait or try listening to some songs again, it should work :]


  6. Check the lock or hold button on the lower left of the pod.It should be in the OFF position (no red showing).
