Help on my pc please anyone with good exp!?

Question

I have a new compaq with a amd 64 athelon ,1gigabite of ram and it used to work fine now it dosent once i cleaned it the moniter came on but it just sits there on the compaq logo i and nothing more AND NO I CANNOT ENTER ANY BIOS STUFF AT ALL! like its just stuck there keyboard has no functions at all if anyone can help it would be very apreciated thanx.

Did you updated some of the components?

Like RAM or Hard disks?

seems something problem with bios or battery that starts BIOS..if u r not expert of hardware, dont do anything wth ur cpu as other advice you, let the cpu check physically by any expert

Try re-starting your pc.

First, unplug your pc; then plug it, then turn it on. If that doesn't work,  your hard drive is probably the issue. May be it's damaged . You got to get a new hard drive, then reinstall your OS from your CD !

It seems to me like a power supply problem. Check all your power supply connections.
