Ok well, i started playing soccer since like april of this year with my friendsm and i enjoyed it. So i then decided to sign up for next years team. I signed a green permission slip, and went to only one of the 6 optional practices in the summer. But now i dont enjoy soccer anymore, and i really dont want to play. Only thing im worried about is making an excuse or something to the coach, seeing as how the coach for the team is my next years gym teacher. Should i just not come to tryouts in aug. ? should i tell a friend who is gonna go to tell him im not playing? Help..

  1. Tell him- yourself- that you are interested in other things, mainly academics, and you know it's important to him to have a team of players that are completely dedicated.

  2. why don't you enjoy it anymore?and just wait until the season is over then quit

  3. finish what you started. go to the try outs and do your best. if you make it, play your heart out. if you don't make it, at least you followed through with what you started. next year, don't sign-up for anything,   unless you tend to follow through. and when you decide not to do something, tell the person yourself that you want to quit.
