Well yes I need help on running, at school (In 10th grade) I had a weight lifting class, before we started, we had to run 2 laps around the track(4 times around the track is a mile) well I couldn't even finish 1 lap and I was dead tired, i barely could breath, any tips? There was one guy who did it with easy, he is in the soccer team though, so you guys have any tips? I wanted to start running in the morning, but I might be embarrassed since I can't run for a long period of time,

  1. ok, try not to start out sprinting because ur just wasting ur energy for the rest of the mile.......try taking it easy and run a 15 minute mile, then the next day try for 13 minutes, then the next day try for 10 minutes, and so on and so forth.......just take it easy at first.......make it a goal JUST to finish the mile........and you also could improve ur cardio w/ biking/trampolining/walking...........an... if you STILL can't do a mile (while taking it easy) you could even walk for one minute to get ur breath back and start back up again......don't worry you'll be able to run a mile in no time if you just keep trying......hope i helped!      good luck!

  2. boy you can just run faster by your strong will and nothing else.

you should increase your stamina to your full potential by practising.my condition was just like you few years back, but then i self trained myself and now i am fastest runner in my school.i hope you will pay heed to my advice.

  3. just wake up super early and run... thats what i would do

  4. the only way to run for longer is to improve your cardio.. the only way to improve your cardio is to run for longer... lol, so its a catch 22..

you could also try biking, swimming, hiking, etc to improve your cardio...

  5. well. i think you should run in the morning. it could help you a whole lot. and don't be emmbarresed  at least you are doing something to make your self more fit. and soccer people are like really fit because they are basically running the whole time they are playing soccer ... so that is like a hour+ of running.

when i did my first 400 i was the same.. like out of breath and everything in time it will become really easy for you but it just takes  time.
