Help on the SHSAT for 9th graders 2008-2009?

I want to take the test again next year, because I didn't make it in. I was really upset. I really wanted to make it in. So, I'm planning on taking it again and at least make it in Brooklyn Tech. I got a 446. And that was pretty low. I got into Midwood High School. So any suggestions on Test Prep Books for 9th graders? or Any useful information I could use? And what would be on the test? I'm currently using the Barron's Review for Math A and English. And the Barron's Regents Review for Math A and English. Are these okay?

I am also planning to take the SHSAT test again because I didn't get in, but I did get into Midwood High School. The book that I would recommend to study is, Barron's New York City SHSAT: Specialized High School Admissions Test. It's supposed to help eight and ninth graders. Good Luck!
