  1. First of all, check your internet connection. If you have a wireless router, we are half way there already. If you have a wired conenction with Ethernet, it's also quite easy.

    - Wireless Router -

    1) Turn on your Wii and then go down to "Wii Settings".

    2) Click on "System Information".

    3) You should see three options and an arrow pointing right. Click on the arrow so you will be on the second page.

    4) Click on "Internet".

    5) Click on "Wireless Connection".

    6) Click on "Test Connection".

The Wii should pick up the signal of your wireless router and give you an internet connection for your Wii. Now you can go onto Wi-Fi and browse the internet channel.

    - Ethernet -

    1) Turn on your Wii and then go down to "Wii Settings".

    2) Click on "System Information".

    3) You should see three options and an arrow pointing right. Click on the arrow so you will be on the second page.

    4) Click on "Internet".

    5) Click on "Wired Connection".

    6) This step has two options:

    * Enter your Ethernet's properties and information and then go up to the top and click on "Test Connection".

    * Plug in your Wii LAN Adaptor to one of the free Ethernet connections in the back of the Ethernet system and then go up to the top and click on "Test Connection".

The Wii should pick up the signal of your Ethernet connection and give you an internet connection for your Wii. Now you can go onto Wi-Fi and browse the internet channel.

    - Nintendo Wi-Fi Connector -

    1) Turn on your computer and then insert the installation disc for the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection and then plug in the connector in a spare USB port in your computer and install the software

(Will only install on Windows XP unless you have the Vista Update)

    2) Turn on your Wii and then go down to "Wii Settings".

    3) Click on "System Information".

    4) You should see three options and an arrow pointing right. Click on the arrow so you will be on the second page.

    5) Click on "Internet".

    6) Click on "Nintendo USB Connector"

    7) Click on "Test Connection".

The Wii should pick up the signal of your Nintendo Wi-Fi Connector and give you an internet connection for your Wii. Now you can go onto Wi-Fi and browse the internet channel.

  2. Wii options>Wii settings>Internet>Connection Settings>Click an empty slot>Wireless connection>Search for access point>Select access point>Test Connection.

Channels recommended are 1 or 11.
