What experience do you have of working in a sales and marketing environment selling products to your customers face to face?

.Extensive experience

.Some experience

.No experience

I'm abit unsure of the term "sales and marketing" i've got lots of retail experience, working a checkout in a supermarket and serving in Argos and matalan, that is selling products face to face, but I'm just unsure about the "sales and marking environment"

  1. you have face to face sales experience.

but sales and marketing usually means you contacting a person

and selling them a product.this may be face to face on the phone

    or net.

tick some experience, if you get an interview, sell your self strongly

on being able to work under pressure and being pleasant .

you are likely to get a phone call, this is part of an interview to see

how you sound. so answer your phone clearly at all times.

    good luck

  2. Retail is a sales and marketing environment.  Also, working at a checkout is not selling face-to-face.  Neither is serving.  If you haven't actually had to describe a product to a customer, answer a series of questions from them, and try to persuade them to buy it then I would go with Some Experience.

  3. its good you have experience in retail. the thing is that you have to actually STUDY your product to know everything about it. i'm sure you know that customers will ask you about every single thing about your product. you also have to understand the concept of customer service, it is very important.

    My personal experience:

I spent two full days attending lectures about Nokia mobile phones and about customer service. then i stood in the store. you are not supposed to deal with customers for 2 months  -in this case- to have retail experience. but since you have it you won't stay long.

    GOOD LUCK

in the application choose "some experience" and explain it if possible
