Okay so this will be my first bike and I want to buy used. What do you think is a good deal? I would like to get the most for my money. I know that it depends on the condition of the bike but assuming they are all in the same condition. Which one should I check out first?

Thanks!!

  1. I agree with First or Second.

The first looks in nice condition, if the mileage is genuine, could be a good choice.

Vefore you go for any of them, get insurance quotes, the Nighthawk may be more expensive...

  2. save some more money and u can get a brand new one instead

    $3,200.00 is Honda's cheapest bike

  3. I like the nighthawk. Some advice I have is make sure it's in good running condition, I a few years back I bought a couple used bikes planning to learn to ride. The bikes I bought needed a few small repairs but not knowing how to work on bikes I couldn't fix them, plus I didn't really have the money to pay someone to fix them, many shops won't work on older bikes, and I couldn't ride a bike so I would have had to trailer it to a shop and I don't  have a trailer. You see where I'm giong with this. Over the course of 3 years I bought 5 junker bikes and never learned to ride. This summer I finally bought a good runnign biek from a dealer and am very happy. Make suree whatever you buy is ready to ride as is.

  4. The nighthawk. It's a good bike. I learned to ride on one.

  5. The honda looks great, give him $1750. Haggle my friend

  6. Hands down the 83 nighthawk. Be careful as this bike will haul! Even with old technology it is a mover.

  7. i personally am saving up for a motorcycle myself (and its going to be my first one).

From what it looks like, your biking look is more laid back.

Im saving up for a Kawasaki Ninja 250R... the only problem is, is that they are on hold in MANY dealerships that ive been too.

all of those look pretty decent for a beginner rider i must say... the price seems fair, and its not ancient.

so i wish you luck with your new bike!

  8. I think the second one is very HOTT!
