I'm writing a book and in it they live in a place where most of the trees tunnel in like this

but the thing is I Don't know anywhere where the trees grow like that, the only place I know is Mississippi but I dont want to do there. Do you know any places where the tress provide tunnel like shade during summer?

  1. Well, there's Oak Alley in Louisiana. But those trees were planted/landscaped...sure look cool, though!

I think it depends on the type of tree. Oak trees have a tendency to "stretch out" across small roads to create a tunnel-ish effect overhead. So any place that has a lot of oak trees might be a good start.

  2. East Dorset offers an iron age hillfort called Badbury Rings.  A two mile stretch of the road from Wimborne Minster (a small town named after its church, the Minster) is known as the Beech Avenue.

The link below mentions Kingston Lacy.  That's an English country house, should you need such a thing.
