  1. You should probably get some sleep on the plane, and when you land, you'll wake up, you'll go home, fall asleep in the car, then get home and wake up, then continue to sleep in your bed.  That should be perfect for getting enough sleep.  When you wake up, you'll get prepared.  If you're still tired, just take a nice shower (which normally wakes me up every morning).  Hope this helps!

  2. on the plane relax but make sure to keep stretching everything out every hour and make sure to get sleep.

coaches look for ball control so keep it cloes and under control.

they look for using both feet.

when you kick make sure the ball goes where you want it to.

make sure your foot follows through on your shots.

on penaltys pick one spot and dont change your mind.

make sure your always moving around make diagnle runs for people to pass too you.

and always keep tryin never give up.

  3. If your on a 15 hour flight, I know from experience that after a while you legs can hurt. Don't let that happen, every hour, stretch you legs just by like raising you knees to you chin, lifting one end of you foot or such. And every 2 or 3 hours go up for a walk, 5 to ten minuites. If you get motion sickness easily, get up more often, and don't look out the windows during the day and while landing. Close your eyes when landing. Eat healthily on the plane, don't get too many soft drinks, eat the fruit. And try not to skip meals, I've done that, like i slept through alot of the flight, and then had more traveling and stuff, and so on and you'll start to feel sick.

During the tryouts, don't think too hard. Just do what comes natrually. Act as if your not trying to impress anyone or anything. Make sure you show that you can do the basics before you do anything fancy so they know you can do the basics well. Don't skip water breaks, I have and regretted it. Oh and don't say anything stupid like against the other teams or stuff.

  4. Sleep as much as possible on the place. Drink plenty of water and fluids, try and eat fruit as well on the plane, as flying (believe it or not) can really dry out your system, dehydrate you and ware you down.. For playing, don't try and do anything you may normally be able to do after a good nights sleep, play solid, don't do anything fancy and flashy, do the basics, and do them very well, nothing stands out more, than a player who doesn't make silly mistakes. Make sure timing is accurate, passes are accurate, shots are on target, tackles are strong and solid, vision is top class, touches are perfect, and your sharp. You don't need to go on fancy runs and try doing fancy flicks and tricks. Practice is the time to try all that, not in try-outs.

    Good luck lad

  5. On the plane: Sleep as much as you can, relax (watch movies or play games), drink plenty of water, and fruit.

Home: walk around to get your legs used to moving around again, like a warm up but easier, and have a nice shower.

Throughout the plane trip and when you get home, focus on how you will play, imagine yourself getting into the team. This probably sounds stupid, but it really works well, dont soubt yourself.

In the try outs, Make sure, you talk alot, even if you dont no there name it shows your not scared to talk out there on the field. Best thing to do is; quick passes, play solid, talk, make runs, be confident but no big runs or tricks, unless they are runs into open spaces.

Also, if you no a certain group of players that always get into the team, try and hang out with them, because the coach will be looking for players that can play well together and if if it looks like you are there friend (or if you are there friend) he thinks you do

    lol =D

    Be confident

    and GOOD LUCK!!
