Help! playing piano with both hands?

i have alot of trouble playing piano with both hands! no matter how simple the song is i still can't do both hands! do you know anys hints or techniques to play with both hands?

  1. Practice, practice practice.

    Practice the hands separately, then start to play together SLOWLY.  Count the beats or use a metronome, so you can plan when each hand is supposed to hit/hold a note.  Don't worry about things like tempo or accents at this stage, just work on keeping your hands in synch with one another.  You may sound like you're playing in slow motion for awhile, but as you learn to put the two hands together, you can try speeding up.


  2. I have the same problem sometimes.  When I was a teen I would practice the right hand first and develop some muscle memory then the left also  developing the muscle memory.  Then put them together.  That has worked and i still do it with harder pieces.  It seems to work for me.  Good luck.
