N.Ireland to Melbourne?

I have a A4 letter with about 15 sheets of paper in it,

its not to heavy.

To send it what do i have to do is there any special stamps to put on?

Like could i just put say 3, 1st class stamps on

Also are you able to just handwrite "airmail" in the corner?

  1. just use UPS shipping, it will be cheapest.


  2. take it to the postoffice, they will weigh the letter for you and tell you how much it costs.  They will also give you an airmail/ par avion sticker.

    it's best doing it this way and not guesstimating postage if you want to ensure the package arrives safely at its destination.

  3. Your best bet is to go into The Royal Mail website http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/jump2...

    From there you should be able to work out exactly what the postage should be.

    Yes, you can write Airmail on the top of your package or letter. One thing to bear in mind is always address the letter clearly and in block letters. Make sure you have the correct postcode on the address. Make everything on the address as legible as you can, it will make it easier for postal staff to ensure the correct delivery of your item.
