Help please,im trying to open a photograph that i,ve received by e mail?

but when i try I'm getting this message,,,,,,this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action,create an association in the set associations control panel,,,,,,,,,,this means nothing to me has im not the brightest on these matters,can anyone translate this into dummy terms please(simple),it would be appreciated thanks in advance.

if u downloaded the pic on ur pc then

right click on the file go to open with->choose program

select "windows picture and fax viewer" from the list and select the

"always use the selected........" option at the bottom
