My parents think i have an eating disorder but i don't really know myself. This is what i've been experiencing for the last couple months....

*i've decreased my portions for my meals(for example, if i were to get 2 hamburgers and a fries, instead i would just get a hamburger)

*I've lost 6 pounds. I now weigh 100 5"2 and i'm currently in a school sport, golf. The major exercise taking place in the sport is walkingthe 5 mile courses for tournaments once a week.

I purposely decreased my portion size for my meals at the beginning of the summer to avoid gaining weight. Now that school has started i tend to be more active and consume more calories. But i've gotten my body adjusted to eating small meals. i also want to keep this up so that i could lose more weight......

So could i have an eating disorder?

  1. If you think you're too fat but in reality you're not, that's the first sign of having eating disorder. If you feel you have suck thinking and insisted to eat less than you're usual consumption, i guess you should look for help now before it get worst.

  2. i dont think you have an eating disorder...yet. But why are you trying to lose som much weight? Research where your B.M.I. says you should be and stay there.

  3. You sound thin enough, why do you want to lose more weight? If you think you're fat at 100 lbs then you may have an eating disorder. As I can't see the portions your consuming I can't know for certain, but it does sound that way.

  4. why don't you just stop counting everything you eat? i did that once and was MISERABLE! 100 pounds and 5"2 sounds okay, but you can probably be okay with a little more HEALTHY meat on your bones. if you are truly concerned, ask your doctor what your BMI range is--he'll tell you if you have a good fat range or not but you really don't sound big AT ALL.

  5. your heading that way, eat properly and you wont gain wait, eat too little and you will cause problems for yourself now and in the long run

  6. Just measure your BMI to see if you are too thin for your height
