Help please? How do I clean glass?

We have these glass jar that has been stored for a long time, causing it to be blurred and making it look frosted. I've tried using glass cleaners, vinegar, and stain removers but to no avail. Please help!

Try Lime Away it may help but can't promise anything

If that doesn't work....

the jars may have been used to hold a chemical that etched the glass like lye. If that is the case then its not going to come clear.

It sounds like they are made out of plastic or there is a clear acrilic finish sprayed on them. I know that sounds crazy but having used everything you've mentioned, surely one of those products would have had some effect on cleaning them.

Take one of them and on the bottom, use a sharp knife and see if you can scrape anything off on the blade and if so there is nothing else that'll clean them short of using a acid base cleaner.

it cant be glass  if those things havnt worked

tRY FILLING THE JARS WITH HOT WATER & BLEACH & LEAVE TO SOAK FOR COUPLE OF HOURS. I HAVE ALSO USED STERADENT TABLETS OR NAPISAN. HOPE THIS HELPS.
