Help please. What elements Are found in Pencil Tips?

i know this sounds dum but i'm helping my 5th grade friend and i have no clue.

Modern pencils are made industrially by mixing finely ground graphite and clay powders, adding water, forming long spaghetti-like strings, and firing them in a kiln (thermally insulated chambers). The resulting strings are dipped in oil or molten wax, which seeps into the tiny holes of the material, resulting in smoother writing.

    Graphite is a form of carbon.  Clays may have  many elements in them; potassium, aluminum, silicon, and oxygen are most common.  Oil and wax are hydrocarbons, comprised dominantly of carbon and hydrogen.
