Ok so my mom had a miscarriage about 2-3 weeks ago, and the hospital gave her a d&c(where they remove the remains) but a week afer she had the procedure, she passed another clot, and its been two weeks since the clot, but she said she still feels "pregnant", symptoms such as a bloated stomach, sore b*****s, and headaches all the time, she took another test and it was negative, but the symptoms are constant, and arent showing any signs of relief, i was just wondering whats going on, is it possible , that they didnt remove all of it?

Thats the only explanation i can come up with as to why she passed another clot and feels pregnant

what do you think?

  1. it is normal to still feel pregnant. your body will adjust but it could take up to 4 weeks. as for the clots they are also normal. they remove the fetus but not everything is removed. it will seem like a period except very heavy. if it does not stop within 2 weeks go back and see the doctor.

  2. Sounds normal, but you can take her to dr for another checkup, home preg tests aren't so accurate. They can do a blood test, and possibly get her hormones back to normal.

  3. Don't worry!

the changes in hormonse when she got pregnant are causing the symptoms, the body will take a few more days to get the hormones back to the normal level before she got pregnant.

sorry about her loss and hope she will feel better soon.
