  1. listen 2 all of their answers 2 get a good diet and excercise plan 2 stick 2, bt just want 2 tel u that if u starve urself,ur body slows dwn ur metabolism 2 conserve wotever food u get,and once uv lost weight and go bak 2 eating u put it on straight away as ur metabolism is still as slow.so all the time uv starved urself wud be ineffective.just warnin u 4 future, an good luck.

  2. Excluding all rare metabolism issues and Hypothyroidism, if your not losing weight it simply means your either eating too much, not exercising enough or both. There is only ONE way to lose weight, a reduced calorie diet, combined with vigorous exercise DAILY. Less in, more out! And you have to stick to it, it's a long term commitment

  3. You need to learn how to eat sensibly.  You do not have to starve yourself to become thin and in fact it sounds like you have an eating disorder.  I would recommend joining weight watchers if possible - I did this and lost 2 stone so far and am eating 3 good meals a day and a few snacks in between.  Weight Watchers teaches you how to eat sensibly and still lose weight healthily.  They do charge a fee but it is worth it for the support and teaching you get.  You can either go to a meeting or join on-line if you go to the weight watchers website you can join as non paying member and still get access to the community groups and some basic advice and recipe and meal ideas.  The groups are very supportive.  I'll give you an example of what I eat following weight watchers for a day:

Breakfast: A bowl of cereal or weetabix plus a banana.  Or 2 small slices of toast with low fat spread and jam.  Or a fruit smoothie with berries, banana, yogurt and orange juice done in a smoothie maker.

Snack:  A low fat yogurt and piece of fruit or as a special treat a low fat packet of crisps or a cereal bar.

Lunch: A jacket potato with beans.  Or a chicken salad sandwich or tuna sandwich.

Snack:  Some ryvita with low fat cheese triangles.

Dinner:  Grilled chicken breast or salmon with baby potatoes and lots of vegetables.  Or a home made low fat curry or chili con carne with rice.

Dessert:  A meringue nest topped with berries and yogurt or a scoop of low fat ice-cream.

Sounds like a lot of food to you I bet?  Remember I have lost 2 stone so far eating like this plus I am quite lazy and do not much of the exercise they recommend.

It really does work but you have to realise for yourself that it is not really a diet it is just the way you have to eat most of the time for the rest of your life with the occasional treat here and there.  Stop the yo-yo now - I did that for 10 years and just kept getting bigger.

  4. Get these two books. They will give you a plan, not a diet, that you can follow the rest of your life.  Proper eating, proper exercise.

    Ultra-Metabolism by Mark Hyman, MD

Body for Life by Bill Phillips

  5. Forget diets - they don't work long term, in fact they induce cravings and a desire for sweet sugary foods which will give you an instant hit.  What you need is a lifestyle change and the food element begins at your shopping trolley... so never shop when hungry!

Fill it with fresh fruit and veg.  Eat fruit before your meals, so you can fill up on the main course and be full before you get to any sweet desserts (hopefully not in that trolley of yours).

Keep up the exercise and if your diet is right you will lose weight, but don't expect it to be sudden - it may or may not happen that way.  If you adjust your lifestyle you won't put the weight back on again.

It's not rocket science but it you get the basics right you can't go far wrong.
