Help please....new brand laptop.............?

Is it normal that a 4gb mem and 200 hard drive brand new laptop get overheated by the very end of the screen and close to the mouse pad?

That's completely normal. Your mouse pad heat up faster because you put your palms on it right. Get a fan cooler and make sure you don't block the vents on your laptop so hot air can come out. Don't leave your laptop on for long periods of time when you don't use it.

If you're saying overheated then I'm thinking there might be a problem. Although you can operate your laptop plugged in, they're still not designed to operate many hours at a time.

Be sure to allow for cool down time.

yeah, I agree with Jim, it happens to all of them
