Help please subwoofer problem (turns off)?

hi

i have 2 12' rockford fosgate

with 800 watt pioneer amp

ive had them for about 2 months and i bump them pretty loud

today they were working then i filled up my car with gas

then when i got back into the car they turned off

so i turned off my radio

and turned it back on and they worked

then like 5 seconds later they turn off

and it keeps doing that

anyone know whats the problem?

maybe the battery?

fuse?

wiring?

btw i have a factory headunit

  1. you have to trouble shoot it, the amp seems like it is getting hot now,or your woofers are strained to the point they are getting your amp hot,so trouble shoot it,let your amp get air buddy or check your woofers to see if they are strained,i can't tell you that one,i make money off of that,sorry


  2. my guess is that u have a bad connection in ur remote wire (usually blue or white wire that goes from the cd player to the amp to power it on and off when the car is on or off). if u have an electric meter put the positive probe where the remote wire goes into the amp and the negitive on the negitive on the amp while the cd player is on, if it has 12 volts then that isn't the problem.
