Help please! wheres the audio input for a 2000 cougar?

i bought an ipod player but i have to plug it into the audio input plug..and i cant find it.. help please!?

Your car stereo may not have an IPOD Plug in.  You may need to get an afermarket Stereo deck installed in your car.  Unless you already have one in which case then you need to know if your aftermarket Deck supports IPOD.  Most do not especially if it is from 2000.  If it is a recent deck in the last 2 years...maybe 3....then it MIGHT if you had requested the deck support such features.  Even now, most decks still dont necessarily support IPOD out of the box, without adapters or having the IPOD ability built in.
