ok in a 5 gallon tank:

3 female bettas

2 or 3 ghost shrimp (well how many should i get?)

and wat kind of snail can get?

so n a 5 gallon i want 3 female bettas (how many?) ghost shrimp (how many and what kind?) snail in a 5 gallon is that ok?

  1. In a 5 Gallon, that might be a bit much. I would recommend one male betta, 2 Ghost shrimp and a Golden Mystery Snail. The 2 Shrimp may mate if they are the opposite s*x but the Betta will enjoy them as lunch if there are too many. And they all clean the tank. But If you'd like to try 3 females, go ahead, but they'll most likely be vicious because of the small size of the tank.  


  2. No, three female bettas will be overcrowded in a 5 gallon tank.

    Female bettas only sometimes get along and its has to be a group of at least 5 in a minimum of a 10 gallon tank.

    You could do 1 female betta OR one male betta and either the snail OR 2-3 ghost shrimp.
