Help please with legal matter?

I was issued a citation for harassment, with a base fine of $1000. If found guilty, besides the fine what else can happen to me, am I looking at any jail time?

I doubt there will be jail time, especially if this is a first offense. You might have to do some community service or even be on unsupervised probation.

It really depends on if it's a misdemeanor or infraction..
