colby calliet sings bubbly and jordin sparxx (fromAmerican Idol) have songs that are decent for young girls, also think of getting the KidzBop,which has popular young adult songs that are edited for and sung by kids...couldn't hurt....i know my friend's 12 yr old niece likes the NOW cd's,cause they are a mix of everything

Try Taylor Hicks new CD. Self Titled.

I know a LOT of people DON"T like him, but they never give him a try.

Anyway, just listen to see if you like them. My kids and grandkids ALL love his songs!

His shows attract people of ALL ages, so IMO the songs are safe for children (exception is 'give me tonight' but that's the one the kids like best! Not for the words, but for the music)
