Help pls in removing email addresses from MY GROUPS?

Question

I have tried this times before and it worked but not today.

MY EMAIL PREFERENCES, then clicking REMOVE EMAIL ADDRESSES, instead of allowing me to remove ... the next page that appears is EDIT MEMBER DETAILS... Thanks much in advance!

If you wish to leave a group:Go to the group site.

Along the top of the page click  edit membership.

in the next window scroll down , check leave group. Click save changes, It may take a   day or so to take feffect

if you simply want to remove e-mail address from your account, you do this at My Account, located top of any group while signed in or at messenger, back space out the addy

if you want to leave-

leaving a group via the unsubscibe e-mail is faulty, if that's the only way you can leave, you will need the help form

go to group home page and click edit membership top middle of page- bottom right click Leave Group- next page confirm and click Leave

go to this link http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups click edit my groups on the top left- locate group (if there's more than one) under the last column check the small box - click save changes
