why is Ssyy considered smooth-green? wouldnt the chance be 1/8 instead cause thers only one SSyy

  1. because as u said before, smooth is dominant, means that any alelle (whether it's homo or hetero) Ss or SS are smooth. For reccesive, yellow has to be only homo (yy, not YY nor Yy)

    So according to the previous answer, it's true. The probability is 1/4. The offsprings are Ssyy & SSyy.
