  1. its part of growing up

  2. You're just growing up.

  3. Hey friend,

These are just the symptoms like you are growing up and it doesnt mean that you are becoming bipolar or something but it means that now you are understanding the world how it is, how you have to be and as you said u like to hangout with your friends and u hate the person whom u like is hanging out with other friends is making you sad and u r able to control your anger... all these things make sense that you are maturing slowly with more understandability.

All the best to you my friend

  4. Okay lets figure this out.  I read everybody's answers and since you brought up bipolar, strawberry who sounds like she's your age may have some food for thought for you...that is if you life is like hers.  Since your only 13 I'm not so sure I would be quick to diagnose you with any psychological disease.  Do psychiatric disorders run in your family?  You told me in an email about doing a different cirriculum in school because of code 80.  Right there makes me think you are seperated a lot ( like an outcast ) from the rest of the kids/teens.  Which could be bringing you down and even though your really smart wishing you were like the others.  Unfortunately teenangers and especially girls are very judgemental.  You may face a lot of dirty looks or comments at school, thus bringing you down.  Going through puberty your hormones are way out of wack.  Your hormones are changing before and after your period.  Also I learned in communication class in college that girls especially young ones like to have one really close friend at your age and it sounds like you are currently hurt by you close friend having another.  Boys on the other hand like to have a lot of buddies, for them more the better, and for girls they search for that real close friend.  In my opinion you are normal.  I feel bad that you aren't happy but you WILL get through this.

    BAD SIGNS TO LOOK FOR:

-thoughts of harming yourself or others

    -extreme loss of appetite

    -loss of hygeine

-too much or not enough sleep

Then you need to go to an ER or see your doctor as soon as possible.  Like strawberry said even teens can have psychiatric problems.

Take care and hang in there.  You can always email me with more details or anything else you would like to discuss.

  5. It's hormones! All girls go through it... believe me its ok. Your body is just changing. Every teenage girl goes through it.

  6. You might be a moody teenager like most of us are at that age because of hormones. But what you described sounds alot like me and I am diagnosed with bipolar II. I've grown up with controlling parents so I learned to bottle everything in, so be it if my mood swings I tend to try to hide it or keep it all in till I can't no more. During times of exteame depression I can not stand to be around my friends especially if I feel like it will be noticeable that I am acting different or feel pressure to be happy and have fun. also alot of anxieties comes up for me if I am out.

As a person who suffers from bipolar I will tell you that little things can make me extreamelly irritated and angry and I might not even fully comprehend it, other times I can feel on cloud nine because some one made me smile.  People who also suffer from bp also tend to be high achievers and are smart if that is what your code 80 stands for

I hope this helps I would suggest talking to a doctor or psychologist but please do not start any meds till you feel really comfortable in your diagnosis.

  7. it could be bipolar mania but the only way to know for sure is to go to the doc and let them examine you in order to determine if have bipolar mania

  8. Going off what you wrote, I'd bet you're dealing with teenage changes, hormonal moodiness, and some social anxiety.  That's all normal for 13.
