i heard from someone that you shouldn't wear a tampon until a year after your first period. Is this true?

  1. So not true. Just I would only use it if you are going to be physically active or swimming. I use them all the time and this is my first year.

    No it is not true it is what ever is comfortable for you.. Remember to use the proper absorbency and do not leave it in for more than 8 hours and if you are not bleeding enough to soak a tampon wear a pad so you do not subject yourself to further risk of TSS

    enough to wear it.

  5. If you are comfortable to insert and use one then you can use them. Just be sure to read the booklet before insertion as you are a first tim user. I used them pretty much rright away as I found them a lot more comfortable when playing basketball.
