y do people get animals from the pet store nand not from the animal sheltar

because people these days are ignorant.

they just want to best of all dogs,they have been already

well taken care of.

which i don't understand.

the animal shelter is where i get all of

my animals.

some ppl dnt realize they can go to the shelter and i have 2 agree with everyone else they are lazy and ignorant if i could get any more animals i would go to the shelter. i feel so bad for the animals there.

because most animals at the shelter are not babies.  Most people want kittens or puppies, etc.

Because  all they care about is having a cute pure bread puppy that they can show and everyone will be jealous of, they don't realize how much harder it will be to train a puppy from the pet store, they have spent their life peeing in their home and never leaving to meet other dogs. In the animal shelter the dogs are already very socialized and most of the time very loving.  People thinks pit bulls are dangerous and ugly but a lot of the time they are no more dangerous or ugly then their prized Chihuahua. In other words ppl are stupid

Well it may be because of the previous answers, but some people know that they may just know that they won't be able to deal with the types of trauma those animals have sometimes been through.  Some may just not know enough about shelters to look at one.  Some may not have the experience to meet the demands those animals sometimes need.  Some like to get animals new so that they can be with them since they're little.  There are probably many reasons.  Don't get me wrong I am all for shelters I'm just trying to look at the situations from other people's view.
