I know a web adress where a lot of people drop an announce because for whatever reason, they  have to leave their home during summer.

-> They feel embarassed to pay their home whereas they are away.

What do you mean by a "one to one homestay"?

Do you mean a house exchange? Or staying as a paying guest? If so, what does "one to one" mean in this context?

Where do you want to go in France?

What is your budget?

What time of the year? I suppose you mean the summer, but July, August? September?
