  1. If you have to run it after lunch make sure that you don't drink any milk and eat pasta if it is possible. Milk is horrible and will make you sick easily.

Try to strecth before you run.

Pace yourself, do not go too fast nor too slow because you dn't want to end up having to walk the last few laps nor do you want to finish wishing you had done better.

Don't walk at all because despite the fact that it may seem you are running/jogging so slow it won't matter, you might not be able to start running again, besides you don;t want other people to think that you have to walk the mile and you can't even run it.

Keep yourself motivated and tell yourself that it will all be over in less than 12 minutes, and that everyone else has to do it too.

    Goodluck and don't give up.

oh and flamingo thats a lie, sure it might not be bad to be last but most likely at least some people will laugh......... its the truth, not like it matters to you ashton because i know you can do it.

  2. you wont get laughed at for being the last one..... just pace yourself.. and if you need to slow down and walk for a lap.... do it! Don't hurt yourself just to be a bigshot... its not worth it

  3. you cant really train for it if its tomorrow

but remember to stretch, it really helps

ex. flamingo stretch, calf stretch, butterflies, etc

  4. eat loads of pasta the night before for slow burning energy, get a lot of sleep and good f****** luck!

  5. try breathing in through your nose and out with your mouth.  I used to suck at running too and that was the only thing that sort of helped me.

  6. I had to do it and it wasn't to hard. But STRETCH BEFORE! I didn't stretch and I popped my hip a little out of place. Its still a little weird. And a tip is to try to run with someone so you keep up the pace. Don't stress it.

  7. If its tomorrow its too late but for next year( or again this year in some schools) start running before the mile and work up to it.
