Help product key windows xp home edition?

ok so my product key was riped the seal was gone form the computer and i called microsoft and hp and they said your key is out of order yu got to upgrade to a new pack and i dont have cash and is there a way to get your product key i got 3 more days till i activate windows

and i need help with this problem i re installed windows again and they said its out of order the product key

I had the same issue before with this comp and went to MS for a solution. I sort of lost the link to the actual solution, but i remember the method. First you can always reset your key, but it will need a small program and a telephone to activate XP.

Download MJB Keyfinder from the website provided. It shows you what your current key is, that way you can retry that key or opt to change it to a working one.

Before it's said, Microsoft offered this link as a support method to fix this issue, so there is no crying "Pirated" on this one.
