how has india's population, diversity and the caste system influenced india's democratic system?

It makes it hard for the leaders to manage the countries growing resource and service needs. The caste system makes it hard, as it is not a real democratic idea. This coupled with the vast differences in language, culture and great diversity between social groups has led India's Democratic system to be one of the most rem arable in the world.
