  1. Listen to what the vet says. They know what they are talking about and you dont want to make your horse any worse.

  2. do you know how to tube the horse and give it electrolytes if so do that and ask vet to come out or take horse to vet

    Good Luck

  3. go 2 ur local feed store/tack store and ask 4 FastTrack.it will take care of this prob and u can keep giving it 2 him in his feed as a preventative.

  4. Just listen to the vet. Call them and see if you can soothe the horse or stop it so they dont have to come. I promise it will be okay. It happened to me. (my horse though)

  5. If your horse is grazing on grass or if you have changed his feed (this includes the same type of feed but by another manufacturer),you may have to dry lot the horse, that is to stall the horse and cut back the feed he is on,make sure he has good clean hay and fresh water for him and try to slowly introduce the feed in small amounts this will usually dry up a horse in this condition, but yes you should also call your vet and check if this is a good first step and see if he wants to try something else.

  6. If you've got a call into the vet...just wait.  Very hard I know.  Make sure horse has fresh and cool water available until the vet calls or comes.

  7. Listen to your Vet's advice. They know best.
