  1. soap? if not go to the hospital.. they can cut the ring off if his finger is in danger

  2. lance his fingertip at least a quarter inch to release some pressure and keep it from sealing until you can get to hospital to have ring or finger removed, preferably ring.

  3. if it is that swollen go to the E.R. they can remove the ring

  4. if it dont get off soon it will be bad ,  he could pop a blood vessel , because the blood is slowly flowing into the finger , but it cant get out that good , and it will ba awful if that ring is not off of him sooN , Go To The E.R

  5. Hold the finger upright (above his head) to relive the pressure, this makes it harder for the blood to pump into the finger (he may need to do this for awhile for the swelling to lessen.  Apply olive oil on and around the ring then push the ring against the finger firmly (palm side) and slowly wiggle it forward still maintaining that pressure to the underside of the ring.  Good luck!!!

  6. You might try putting his hand in a buckett filled with ice water for 5-10 minutes or so.  Maybe that will bring down the swelling.

Then coat his hands with just dish soap.Have him rub his hands together to get the dish soap all over the hand,  Then using the ice water, lather up the hand and finger and try to remove the ring  Getting over the middle knuckle will be the hardest part, but try to pull through it. If that fails, Keep the hand and finger elevated above the heart and then it would be a good idea to present either to an emergency room or an urgent care facility to have the ring cut off.  Go to the Urgent Care if you can.  It is much cheaper and the wait is significantly lowered.

  7. Go to the hospital. If the finger does not recieve blood for a prolonged period of time, it can cause damage!!

  8. put sop on the finger then slowly wobble the ring out. At worst, snip the ring
