Hey...so i am a fourteen year old girl....and my room is extremely small and very cluttered so I am trying to redo it. i am getting rid of a lot of stuff and having a garage sale...so i am thinking of getting rid of my desk and chair because I don't use them and i just stack stuff on it so that would be a good way to open up the room a bit. I can't buy anything new really, because i have to buy it all with my money. so i need cheaper ideas. I am emptying out my bookshelf so I will have a huge empty bookshelf but I can't move it and my mom won't let me get rid of it so i have to have someway to utilize the space but not clutter it. i am going to get bedding stuff and i want the theme to be like turquoise and black and white (zebra)...i might get one of those comfy round chairs to put in my room....i have a tv, one little dresser, 3 bookshelves (i cant move them), and a bed....the bed is huge though...so here are my questions...

1. what could i do to unclutter it

2. what are some ideas for the empty bookshelf (it is pretty much floor to ceiling)

3. what are some furniture ideas...(not expensive....please give websites...US)

4. any other ideas!!!

please help....and also, how much do you think i could sell these things in a garage sale... i know i wont make much but any money would be good...

desk

chair

nintendo ds

nintendo ds games

books

clothes

thank you so much again!!!

  1. Step 1: Uncluttering

Get a washing basket or something big to hold things in &

pick up all the useless things you don't need that are on the floor.

Pick up all the things you will use and put them in a small

area where you wont go into for the moment.

Start to clean up all cluttered areas like your book case and put

all toys,cd's,magazines,cd player ect things like that in there

try and make it look all colourful and put things on an angle so they

    look nice and presented.

Clean up your bed and put your sheets and pillow and stuff in the wash and hang them out to dry.

Vaccume up floor and pick up the things you wanted to keep in room

and put them in a nice spot.

Clean down your walls, get rid of ripped posters and rubbish and then clean down your window (if you have any).

    Step 2: Decorating

Use some old scratched cd's that you don't use anymore and hang them on a piece of string that attaches to the roof.

Put posters all over your empty bookshelf.

Buy some nice side tables and lamps to go in your room.

Stick posters on your wall or make a photo collage.

shanalogic.com has alot of nice cheap original stuff I reguarly go there :).

How about decorating your chair and desk with stickers and write on them and put your computer or convince mum to let the computer go in your room and that will be great for school work and studying.

Buying some invisible paint that glows in the dark and get your friends to come over and write a secret message (check with parents first).

    Hope This Helps :D
