Question:

Help removing Trojan.KillAV and Adware.CWSIEFeats?

Okay, so I have Trojan.KillAV and Adware.CWSIEFeats on my computer.

I have Norton Antivirus 2006, and it doesn't show path files, so I don't know where to find the infected files.

I would rather not have to download another antivirus or other such programme, but any help on manual removal would be helpful - the Symantec website hasn't really helped because of the lack of pathfiles from Nortons. Thanks!

  2. You will have to google for freeware online spyware removers

  3. You should receive professional Malware removal support from a site like http://geekpolice.net/

I recommended it because they provide real fast support and a cure is guaranteed.

  4. norton sucks get avg free or full (free: http://www.download.com/AVG-Anti-Virus-F... full (trial): http://www.grisoft.com/ww.download-trial compare: http://free.avg.com

  5. Hi

I suggest you boot into Safe Mode (press F8 at startup) and then download Superantispyware free and Malwarebytes Antimalware free.

Update and scan with both of them. This should clean up the majority of the infections.

Then reboot back into normal Windows and download the latest Norton AntiVirus, which is 2008 (assuming your key is still valid?). Update that and full scan.

  6. Trojan.KillAV means Norton cannot do its job.

    what i would do:

    1. turn off system restore

    2. boot in safe mode with networking

    3. do two free online scans:

    http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html

    http://housecall.trendmicro.com/uk/

4 re boot you should now be clean turn on system restore.

Norton now should be able to do its job.

  7. You should use an antivirus program and antispyware software, because your computer is now infected with viruses and/or spyware.

Here you have more information on computer security, as well as good and free programs that you can download into your computer:

The  website list top ten the best and newest anti-spyware in 2007.

    http://toptenantispyware.com/

All are safe and can be trusted and you can download one.

  8. I think you really do need another antivirus... Norton sucks. And Norton Antivirus 2006 prolly sucks even more than the current version, so get Avira or something...

  9. TRY TO GET A MUCH MORE RECENT ANTIVIRUS

CHECK CNET TO GET SOME GOOD AND FREE ANTIVIRUSES
