Help replaceing 1997 Accord SE Audio System???

Question

I want to upgrade from my Bose sound system. I have a stock head unit, and I cant play loud music or it sounds really bad. I want to be able to hit/hear the really low deep notes, and play them very loud. What do I need to get/add in my car to be able to blast the music, and hit all of the notes?

get more powerful speakers and add an equalizer/amplifier if you only want to add to your existing stereo

Unfortunately, if you are just not happy with the performance of the Bose stereo and there isn't anything obviously wrong with the system like blown speakers or mis-functioning radio. You should start looking at replacing your equiptment... Head-unit and speakers and then look into upgrades like amps, EQs and subs. You should defiantly go to a shop and listen to different radios and pick the one that sounds best to you.
