  1. drink some water

i would probably get a spray bottle if it helps.

put your hair on top of your head in a bun, it won't stick to your neck and make you feel hotter.

    sweatbands?

  2. Get up early and run  before it gets too hot or run in the evening.  Running in 95 degree heat is not a good idea. Definitely don't run mid day and try to run when the temperature is below 80.

  3. do you have to run in the heat ?

I'm currently in iraq where today it was 110 or so. Of course being in the military you have to be able to do your job at any time of the day but when we have a chance to run or work out I tend to do it earlier in the day where the heat isnt so bad or at night after it cools off.

  4. wear headphones to listen to music so you dont think about it.

  5. i had the exact same problem! i got to 2.63miles and i was like, forget it!  I remember last summer I waited untill night time to run, but even then it was 70-75 out and humid.  I think it just takes a while to acclimate.  I'm from around chicago too!  I'm going to try again tonight, good luck!
